About Us
CareerSpring is a national non-profit organization that empowers first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) students and graduates with career information and skills, professional networks, and employment opportunities through a Career Platform and community of volunteers and allies.
After spending 20 years as a leader in the energy industry, Paul Posoli had the opportunity to become the President of a high school for students of limited economic resources in Houston, Texas. That experience fundamentally changed the way he viewed the world, deepening his appreciation for the delicate and complex relationship between human potential and life circumstances. Paul recognized that FGLI students embody grit, determination, and a set of life experiences that can add significant value to our labor market, but that this same population of students often lacks the social capital and information necessary to find meaningful employment.
In 2020, CareerSpring launched to solve this very problem, by bridging the gap between FGLI talent and opportunities. Our Career Platform provides an efficient and scalable model to connect hundreds of thousands of young Americans with information and social capital that facilitates their career readiness and ultimately unlocks their employment potential.
Since our founding, we have successfully supported over 30,000 FGLI students nationwide, alongside our expanding Network of hundreds of Employer and Community or Education Partners.

We envision a future where every FGLI college student in the United States secures meaningful, high-quality employment that reflects their God-given potential, fosters economic mobility, and transforms the workforce through the empowerment of FGLI talent.
