Empowering FGLI Students
We work closely with non-profit and community organizations across the nation to significantly enhance the career readiness and post-graduation outcomes for high school, post-secondary, and college-age students and alumni that are first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI).
Our Network of Non-Profit and Community Partners helps contribute to the success of our mission and expand our reach, customizing how they utilize our resources with the students they support at both the high school and post-secondary levels.

Our Resources
There are a lot of job search platforms out there. What's different about us is that everyone involved—from the volunteer Advisors, to the employers posting jobs, to our staff—are explicitly and passionately focused on career access for FGLI college students and graduates.
We partner with non-profit organizations across the nation to offer an array of resources for FGLI students and graduates to easily access and gain support in their career journey—focusing on four primary career development pillars that lead to future success:
-

Career Exploration
Advisees can explore different career paths and gain insights on various professions by taking our Career Interest Finder, watching videos from real-world professionals in our Career Video Library, and attending virtual career panels, such as our Career Exploration Week.
-

Skill Development
Advisees can improve their skills for searching, applying to, and interviewing for career opportunities–whether it be by reviewing guides in our Resource Toolkit, or gaining insights and guidance from our Lunch & Learn event series or meeting with a Candidate Coach.
-

Networking & Career Advice
Advisees gain access to our Advisor Network for professional connections that can provide them with advice, inspiration, and position them with social capital for launching their career.
-

Career Opportunities
Advisees can search and apply for early career programs, internships, or jobs with companies or organizations from our Employer Partner Network, a diverse network of allies that value FGLI talent and provide high-quality, meaningful work.
