CareerSpring Receives $100,000 Contribution from Blackstone Charitable Foundation to Expand Career Access Resources

CareerSpring is proud to announce a generous $100,000 contribution from the Blackstone Charitable Foundation!

The funds will help further CareerSpring’s mission to support first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) students across the United States, while also deepening our partnership with the Foundation to support the expansion of the Blackstone’s LaunchPad Program through our Career Platform.

Historically administered through the Blackstone Charitable Foundation, the LaunchPad Program advances career mobility through skill-building and internships for first generation and low-income students. The program partners with higher education institutions and mission-aligned nonprofits to train students in key career skills, then gives them access to paid internships at Blackstone, Blackstone portfolio companies and startups. With this new investment, CareerSpring will host the LaunchPad training on our Career Platform, giving all CareerSpring Advisees the opportunity to complete the program and gain visibility into career opportunities across Blackstone’s portfolio companies nationwide.

Through this partnership, CareerSpring joins five other nonprofit organizations selected to deliver the LaunchPad program, ensuring the training’s long-term impact and extending its reach to thousands of aspiring professionals. By making the program accessible through CareerSpring, Advisees will not only strengthen their professional development but also be better prepared to compete for early career opportunities.

ShaJra Austin, National Director for Partner Engagement at CareerSpring, shared, “The generosity of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation generosity reflects more than a financial investment—it’s a belief in the potential of our Advisees. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and excited to see how LaunchPad will open new doors for the young people we serve.“

This enhanced commitment reflects the Blackstone Charitable Foundation’s deepening partnership with CareerSpring, and their shared dedication to access to impactful career development programming, furthering CareerSpring’s mission to expand economic mobility and opportunity for the next generation of FGLI leaders.
