Advisee Spotlight: Bryce Beck

Advisee Bryce Beck learned about CareerSpring through an Advisor when he started his first year at the University of Miami. As a first-generation college student interested in building his professional network, Bryce was drawn to the opportunity to easily build his network, sharing that, “Knowing that I would be able to connect with professionals from various industries that I am interested in pursuing post grad definitely intrigued me, and the connections I have made on the Platform have truly allowed me to expand my network in a greatly positive manner.”

As he explored through our resources, Bryce applied for our FORWARD Internship Program for the Summer 2025, and secured a role as a Marketing Intern with College AIM in his hometown of Atlanta, GA. The experience helped him further develop his communication skills and opened doors to additional internship opportunities and scholarship awards.

Every step of the way, Bryce has been intentional about making the most of every opportunity available to him. His time with College AIM resonated deeply with him, sparking an interest in impact-driven work. For Bryce, CareerSpring’s supportive Network, Advisors, and staff has been one of the most valuable parts of the experience. Now as a second-year student studying Business Analytics and Marketing, Bryce has built on his FORWARD experience and tapped into hands-on internships across various industries. Most recently, he completed a Marketing Performance and Data Insights internship at a fintech startup.

As Bryce reflected on his journey thus far, his advice to other FGLI students is to tap into CareerSpring. He shared, “Having a network of other individuals who stem from the same background as you not only gives you amazing opportunities, yet it also allows you to build a sense of community to lean on, which is crucial in this period of our lives that is filled with vast amounts of uncertainty.”

When FGLI students and alumni tap into CareerSpring’s Network, they can meet with an Advisor to gain industry insights, build their networks, and more. Learn more about partnership and share our free resources with your students today!
