Four CareerSpring Advisees Honored at FEI Chicago Student Awards

We are proud to share that four CareerSpring Advisees were selected to receive Student Awards from Financial Executives International (FEI) in Chicago. Each year FEI in Chicago selects outstanding finance and accounting students from their partner universities, celebrating the next generation of leaders in the finance industry with scholarship awards.

• Francisco Gomez: 1st Place

• Lizzet Zumba: 3rd place

• Stivan Dobrev: Semi Finalist

• Josi Li: Semi Finalist

Each and every one of the Advisees that has been awarded a gift from FEI has shared that this support has provided instrumental support for their career journeys.

“I came upon this opportunity through an email sent by Laura Duelm (National Director of Job Placement). Through opportunities like this...I have a better grasp of what I want my future to be and a place to go with questions navigating both higher education and the workforce,” Francisco shared. 

Lizzet also reflected that, “Through CareerSpring, I’ve also been supported in pursuing opportunities like Girls Who Invest and FEI, which have been instrumental in my growth, learning about different industries, from Big 4 to public companies, has given me a valuable perspective and direction.”
