Boston Chamber Launches Community Partnership Program with CareerSpring for Boston’s Future Leaders Program

CareerSpring is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce through its Boston's Future Leaders Program—a 10-month leadership development experience for professionals ages 25–50 that equips participants with the skills, experiences, and connections to lead Greater Boston toward a more equitable and innovative future.

Our partnership will introduce a structured volunteer component into the Boston’s Future Leaders curriculum, connecting participants from the program with CareerSpring Advisees for hands-on, career-focused volunteer experiences to provide meaningful career guidance, while deepening their own understanding of community leadership and impact.

James E. Rooney, President & CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce shared:

“We’re excited to partner with CareerSpring to continue uplifting Boston’s Future Leaders, a pillar of the Chamber’s influential Learning and Development portfolio. Boston’s Future Leaders is a transformative opportunity for high-performing talent and committed employers determined to champion the growth of their employees. Program participants graduate with enhanced management capabilities, stronger civic networks, and actionable strategies, benefiting their careers, colleagues, and companies.”

Across eleven sessions, participants learn from faculty at Harvard Business School, collaborate with peers across industries, participate in workshops, and design an Individual Action Project for their workplaces.

Paul Posoli, CareerSpring’s Founder and President shared, “We’re proud to embark on this exciting partnership with the Chamber. The Boston’s Future Leaders cohort will offer meaningful career guidance and connections mentorship for CareerSpring Aadvisees—relationships that we hope will continue well beyond the program. Every FGLI student deserves access to high-quality, meaningful employment opportunities, and with the Chamber, we’re working to open those doors for the next generation of leaders.”

As part of the new partnership, Boston’s Future Leaders participants will take part in a dedicated civic engagement session on June 17, 2026. During that session, they will hear from Robert Lewis, Jr., President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, before engaging in group mock interviews with CareerSpring Advisees to help prepare them for their job searches. In addition to the session in June, Boston’s Future Leaders participants will complete a minimum of two hours of individual volunteering with CareerSpring Advisees throughout the program year.

“Integrating community engagement into the Boston’s Future Leaders curriculum strengthens the program for everyone involved,” said Erin Wederbrook Yuskaitis, Senior Director of Learning & Development at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. “This partnership creates meaningful, reciprocal connections—participants gain a deeper understanding of civic leadership while CareerSpring Advisees receive tangible career support.”

We are thrilled to expand our impact through in the Boston region, connecting volunteers and Advisees both in-person and virtually. Maria Stotz, Regional Program Manager, CareerSpring shared “From our very first conversation, Erin and I recognized the strong alignment between the Boston's Future Leaders program and CareerSpring’s mission. I'm incredibly excited about this new partnership and the opportunities it will unlock for our Advisees in the Greater Boston area.”

Through partnerships like this, CareerSpring continues to turn opportunity into access at scale.
