Stuart Staley

Independent Non-Executive Director

Stuart Staley is an Independent Non-executive Director with UK-listed financial services firm TP ICAP Group, where he serves as the Americas workforce engagement lead and is a member of the Risk, Remuneration, and Nominations & Governance Committees.

Before retiring in 2023, Stuart spent 20 years with Citi where he served most recently as Global Head of Citi’s Foreign Exchange business based in New York. Prior to this role, Stuart was based in Singapore as Regional Head of Citi’s Markets & Securities Services businesses across Asia. Stuart joined Citi to lead the organic build of Citi’s commodities business, serving as Global Head of the

business in London. Under his leadership, Citi Commodities achieved a leading position in the industry and was recognized by Energy Risk Magazine as Derivatives House of the Year during four consecutive years from 2014 – 2017.

Before joining Citi, Stuart spent two years with AEP Energy Services Ltd. in London where he was CEO and led the company’s European generation, trading and marketing businesses. Prior to this role, Stuart spent six years with Enron, where he helped to build the company’s energy trading businesses in North America, Europe and Asia.

Stuart holds a B.A. with Honors in Chemistry from Williams College, and an MBA and a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
