Grow Our Network, Grow Our Impact
Our Advisees have big goals and they need guidance from real world professionals who reflect the full range of careers and lived experiences in today’s workforce.
We’ve set an ambitious goal: welcome 100 new Advisors in 30 days to expand representation across high-growth and essential industries, including:
Business
Healthcare
Technology
Logistics & Transportation
Hospitality
Skilled trades
Manufacturing Sectors
We’re looking to our Network to help make this possible. When you refer a colleague or friend, you’re helping us build a more representative network—one that meets Advisees where they are and helps them get where they want to go in their careers. Volunteer Advisors determine their availability, so it's a tangible, efficient way to give back to FGLI students.
Do you know someone who would be a great fit? Invite them to join the CareerSpring Network.
While we’re prioritizing the industries listed above for this campaign, we know every career journey has value and interested volunteers from all fields are encouraged to join.
What is an Advisor?
Volunteer Advisors network with and provide advice for first-generation and/or low-income students and graduates who are just starting their careers. When you become an Advisor, students (Advisees) can reach out to you to schedule live virtual meetings via our Platform’s online meeting software. Advisors have the ability to set their availability so that they can connect as little or as much as they want with Advisees for virtual meetings.
Becoming a CareerSpring Advisor offers a flexible way for you to make a difference. No specific experience is required, as we’re just looking for real-world professionals who are enthusiastic, responsible, and relatable.
