Celebrating
Five Years of Empowering FGLI Talent

CareerSpring is a national non-profit organization that empowers first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) students and graduates with career information and skills, professional networks, and employment opportunities through a Career Platform and community of volunteers and allies.

Since our founding in 2020, we have experienced rapid growth, successfully supporting over 33,000 FGLI students nationally from 1,250 different colleges and universities, alongside our expanding Network of over 550 Partners. We currently work from nine primary regions–Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco–but as a virtual Platform we support FGLI students in nearly all fifty states.

As we enter our fifth year, we have proof of concept and know that our model is changing lives. The data collected from 2024 graduates who engaged with our Network demonstrated that our intended impact for Advisees to secure high-quality, meaningful employment at the same rate as non-FGLI students is working. With 80% of our Advisees who actively leveraged our Career Platform’s resources and Network secured high-quality and meaningful employment in Q1 of 2025, compared to a 25% national average.

We are more than just a non-profit organization providing career access; we are a movement with tens of thousands of people committed to our vision of a future where every FGLI college student in the United States secures meaningful, high-quality employment.
