First-Generation College Celebration Week

November 2-8, 2026

National First-Generation College Celebration Week is November 2–8, 2026. It's a time to honor students and graduates who are the first in their families to go to college, and the determination, resilience and talent they bring to their campuses, workplaces and communities.

CareerSpring has supported over 52,000 first-generation and low-income students on their path to meaningful careers, alongside 600+ Community and Education Partners and a national network of employers and volunteers. This week, we're inviting everyone in our Network to help celebrate them.

This toolkit has everything you need to join in:

  • Shareable graphics for Employer Partners, Education Partners, Advisors, Board Members, Advisees and anyone who supports first-gen students

  • Suggested captions you can copy, paste and make your own

  • Partner template versions with space to add your organization's logo

How to share: Download the graphic that fits you, pair it with a suggested caption (or write your own), and post during the week of November 2.

Why share on social media?

One post takes less than a minute and helps first-gen students see they belong. It also connects more students to CareerSpring's free career support and brings new volunteers and partners into our Network.
